Software Engineer (.NET, C#)

OLTIS is looking for experienced Software Engineers to maintain and customize enterprise-level high availability applications. A positive attitude, the ability to operate within a team, and the flexibility to code within the framework of the architected application will be key. Below you will find a brief overview of the skills we are seeking: 

  • Strong object oriented programming skills 
  • Experience working with .NET framework 
  • ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio 2005 
  • Web services, XML, XSLT, .NET windows and web forms development 
  • MS Transact SQL 
  • Strong communication skills

Entry Level Software Tester

Use your software expertise and attention to detail to test cutting edge financial planning software. Part-time assignment with premier employer in Tucson, AZ, Monday through Friday 10am - 3pm.

Qualified Applicants would include:

  • Individuals with a software, or business, or financial background of study.
  • Someone who pays close attention to detail and enjoys puzzles.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Determine test objectives and standards by studying software requirements.
  • Write test cycle plans, test cases and test scripts.
  • Identify software capabilities and reliability by conducting functional, system and performance tests.
  • Report test outcomes by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, summarizing and displaying data; and some technical writing.

QA Engineer

OLTIS is looking for experienced QA Engineers to perform the following job functions: 

  • Test software programs to establish that all business requirements have been implemented completely and correctly and are traceable to system requirements. 
  • Create data based on business rules, user interface standards, and technical specifications. 
  • Identify, analyze, and report defects with full evidence such as functionality errors, inconsistencies in software program functions, file outputs, user interface forms, content, and system usability issues. 
Skills/Characteristics Needed 
  • Detail Oriented
  • Process Oriented 
  • Knowledge of SQL and database structures 
  • Knowledge of entire software development process 
  • Flexible 
  • Establish and enforce SQA methodologies, processes and Testing Strategies 
  • Communication with Analysis and Development team 
  • Judgment skills to assess high-risk areas of application 
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
